Why this shape
Misen builds these extra-large and heavy on absorbency, which is a different job from a thin service cloth: a big towel folds to four working layers, and four layers is what lets you move a hot handle without feeling it. The size that makes them awkward tucked into an apron string is the same size that clears a whole bench in one sweep.
- Good for
- Bench spills, drying produce, moving hot handles and general clean-down.
- Not for
- Tucking into an apron string all shift — an extra-large cloth is bulk you will keep re-folding. Reach for a cut-to-hand service towel there.
- Care
- Machine wash and tumble dry. No softener — it coats the fibre and kills the absorbency you paid for.
