Why this shape
A long handle and a double pour spout turn a measure into something you can also pour from cleanly with one hand, which matters when the other hand is holding a bowl. Lodge publishes these as stovetop safe, so the same cup can melt butter or warm water and go straight into the mix — one fewer pan on the stove. The set is dishwasher safe, which is what keeps a measuring set in rotation rather than in the back of a drawer.
