Why this shape
The connecting ring is the whole design: a loose measuring spoon migrates to the back of a drawer and the set stops being a set. Six standard measures stay together and stack, the marks are engraved rather than printed so they survive washing, and the brushed finish hides the fingerprints that make polished sets look dirty on a counter. Lodge publishes them as stain and odour resistant, which matters when the same spoon meets turmeric and then vanilla.
- Good for
- Spices, leaveners, salt and any small measure a recipe repeats.
- Not for
- Volumes above a tablespoon — reach for the cups instead of counting spoonfuls.
- Care
- Dishwasher safe per Lodge. Keep them on the ring; that is what stops the set breaking up.
