Why this shape

A fish spatula lives or dies on the thinness of its leading edge and the springiness of the slots behind it. Building it from titanium instead of steel keeps that thin edge from corroding in the acid and salt it works in, and keeps the weight off the end of a long tool so the flex you feel is the blade and not the mass.

Good for
Delicate fillets, skin-on fish, and anything that has to arrive at the plate unbroken.
Not for
Scraping a grill or levering frozen food — the thin edge is the point and it is not armour.
Care
Corrosion-resistant titanium construction.
