Why this shape

Designed with Anne-Sophie Pic, a three-Michelin-star chef, together with Verdier Cutlery and the studio C+B Lefebvre. The camber and the flex of the blade were the specific things they worked on: enough spring to slide under something soft and lift it whole, enough backbone that it does not fold under the weight. The offset keeps your knuckles off the plate.

Good for
Small or cut pieces — foie gras, appetizers, scallops, petits fours — and anything cooked on a teppanyaki or plancha.
Not for
Turning a whole fish or a steak — this is a placement tool, not a turner.
Care
Stainless steel handle and blade.
