Why this shape
The same portion volume as the round ring in a different geometry — corners read as deliberate on a plate where a circle reads as soft. 18/8 stainless is the food-grade grade, and the flat sides let you compress a filling evenly with a spoon back before lifting.
- Good for
- Squared tartares, layered salads and compressed components with defined edges.
- Not for
- Anything that needs a clean release from a curved wall — corners hold on to sticky mixtures.
